Values
The values of our church is what gives us our unique flavor. You might say that our values are the DNA of Auguston Neighbourhood. We have 8 core values that are highlighted here:
1. Loving God
We are dependent on God, our creator and sustainer, and His Word, to guide our spirit filled lives. In thanksgiving we offer our praise, prayers, gifts, and obedience.
2. Loving Each Other
Our unity in the Spirit leads us to build authentic relationships of care, support, encouragement and accountability together in community.
3. Loving Our Community
We build bridges to the community by making ourselves and our resources available to meet its needs with no strings attached.
4. Loving the Unbeliever
Local
We build intentional relationships with unbelievers and offer them a safe place to pursue their spiritual curiosity and hear the Gospel of Christ
Global
We team together to send and support missionaries to reach the world for Christ
5. Servanthood
Following Jesus’ example, we will use our spiritual gifts, passions, experiences and abilities to serve the body of believers.
6. Spiritual Formation
We passionately pursue our relationships with Jesus to become fully grown in the Lord allowing His Spirit through His word to shape us as devoted followers who in faith take risks to obey His will for our lives.
7. Leadership Formation
We raise up, equip, and release leaders to realize their full potential of God’s calling on their lives.
8. Excellence
We do our best for God with all He has given us because He works through us to reveal His glory. We do everything in Jesus’ name.
